  • Custom Surf Craft

One of our passions is making custom equipment for life sports enthusiasts especially eco-friendly and safe to manufacture products.

We custom-make surfboards and skateboards for use and also as art pieces. Plus professional surfboard repair and restoration.

We're currently making everything from hand planes to finless designs and big adventure paddleboards. When in the water we always encounter people keen to find out more about our unique designs.

  • Building & Carpentry

We're a creative bunch, spending every day inventing, designing and problem solving.

We have over 10 years experience in the industry working on historic grade-listed buildings and high-end projects that demand quality craftsmanship, a broad knowledge of materials and an impeccable finish.

  • Pickwell Manor

We were privileged to be involved in the huge task of renovating and restoring Pickwell Manor. An elegant manor house that dates back to the 10th Century, and is mentioned in the Domesday Book of 1086. The result was 10 luxurious apartments!

  • Custom Vehicles

We love working with vehicles: mechanics, electrics, spraying and body working.

This is our VW t4 syncro, converted from an empty panel van, to a 'go anywhere' expedition camper/work truck.

Contact us about your requirements for a campervan conversion or expedition vehicle.

  • Wave Project

We're the North Devon co-ordinators for the Wave Project, a not-for-profit company that uses surfing and the natural environment as a health intervention for people facing exceptional challenges in their lives.

We deliver our programmes and a surf club with the help of Surf South West, at Croyde Bay.

If you fancy volunteering with us please get in touch.

  • Surf Craft Repairs

We've been designing, shaping, finishing and repairing surf craft and boats for over ten years and have a lot of experience in the use of composites, including different resins, fibres, foams and substrates, fillers etc...

We also have experience in laminating, moulding, casting, re-enforcing and have worked with speciality glues and materials, making our own wetsuits and accessories.

  • Videography

Our passion for photography has expanded into videography.

We were involved in the production of 4 short surf films in '13, one of which was selected as a 'Magic Seaweed Winter Sessions Film' finalist. Another was shortlisted at London Surf Film Festival and another went on to be used for the Wave Project as a fundraising campaign.

Shortlisted at London Surf Film Festival in 2013

On the rugged coast of North Devon can be discovered Joel and his shaping hut. We found him heading out to his local spot and decided to tag along, curious by his new board called 'the Port Glass'. Joel describes it as a high performance eco evolution of the mini simmons, made from eco resin. Enjoy...
